Vista vs MacOSX

I'm considering purchasing a new computer and would like to know which operating system is better, Vista or OSX. I mainly use the computer to access the internet, upload webpages, design webpages, compile large amounts of data in Excel spreadsheets, write letters, and play games. I've been using Windows for years and haven't had too many problems, but I'm always looking for something better. Thanks
