Shipping to Unconfirmed Addresses

United States

I recently sold something on ebay and when I received their PayPal payment the address was uncomfirmed, their ebay address was in one state and shipping state was another. I used the "contact buyer" link in ebay to ask about the address (4 days ago) and still haven't heard anything back from the buyer. I don't feel comfortable shipping the item to an unconfirmed address and it really makes me uncomfortable that the buyer hasn't contacted me since I asked about the unconfirmed address. Any suggestions?

surely if you have the payment, and they can't cancel it, it shouldn't matter where you send it to? being unvarified just means that you haven't hooked up a bank or credit card to the paypal account you are using. and who is to say that whoever payed for the item isn't having it sent to relatives in another state? if you truely feel uncomfortable about it, send their payment back and don't sell the item to them.

I didn't say that they were unverified, they are UNCONFIRMED. There is a big difference, I really don't care if they are a verified/unverified buyer

To comment on bobbyjoe143's comment. .I believe there is no way to buy things via Paypal if they were unverified. .having an unconfirmed address is something different.

I like e.bay a lot, but i do find problems with its security and have recently had people trying to get money through my paypal account, e.bay neither cared nor noticed, so i would suggest treat them very very carefully blessed be

if you have a bad vibe i would not send i would send a second chance offer or you could get a confirmation number so you can track the item

All you have to do is make sure you pay the extra 65 cents and put delivery confirmation on the package so the buyer can't claim they didn't get the package. That way, if theres any dispute, PayPal will ask you for that number and you'll have it ;)
