I don't think it is just women who like to craft. I know many men who like to craft. They just call it something else. My husband likes woodworking. It's a craft. I enjoy cross stitching and sewing. I think people in general like to craft because we like the idea of creating something from nothing. I know that I enjoy cross stitch because I love seeing something come to life under my hands. Taking that blank piece of fabric and turning it into something beautiful. My husband loves taking a piece of wood and bringing somethign out of it. I really do think that we just love to create stuff so everyone enjoys crafting.

I'm not sure, not all women like to craft. But I do! I actually wasn't really into it, but then I started working in a craft store and I wanted to start crafting really bad! I saw so many things. I think it's fun and semi-relaxing depending on what you're doing, and it's cool to be able to say you made certain things by yourself!

I agree pretty much! I think that must be what most people think when they make crafts and such, that it must be fulfilling to say that made something :)

I enjoy crafting because it's fun and I feel good when I finish my projects.. I know some males that enjoy it too but they mostly do different types of crafts. More manly instead of say beading they will do woodwork etc... My father and Brother are both crafty people, and love drawing....

I am a man and I thing that there are many men that do crafts in mylot. Maybe their crafts are not the save kind of crafts but none the less they are crafts. Maybe you should have chosen a particular kind of craft but not so broad a category as just crafts.

i agree with vokey men do craft wood working and widdling wood is a craft and i know plenty of men that do those things but "crafting" is more like a feminine term and men do not like to call it that i also think that crafting is in a womans genetics in the olden days women were expected to mend clothes and make whatever the family needed while the husband was at work so i think crafting is just in a womans ancestory and history
