Today when I logged into My Lot to check my earnings, I was so bummed out. I'm not complaining, My Lot are generous people. But, more so, I was disappointed that I hadn't worked hard at all yesterday and just goofed off most of the day. And, my earnings were way down. It was Sunday anyway, so I had a good excuse not to work hard. So, this afternoon I said to my daughter, "Wow! I really dropped the ball at My Lot yesterday!" And, she's three years old, so she's into that literal stage. So, she said, "You dropped the ball? Well, then, where is it at?" I said, "Where is what?" And, she said, "The ball!" Babies! And, the funny things that come out of their mouths! Can you top that? Please share a funny, cute or heart warming story about your kids.

Unortunately I can't think of a real good story now, but I will say that yours really had me laughing. I absolutely love the way small children thing, and the way they interpret what we say. I guess it goes to show that they are really listening.

Me too! I'm always shocked at some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth. We have to use the naughty chair often in our house! LOL!

My son loves the Disney movie Tarzan (among others). He's Autistic and non-verbal, so most of the things he says clearly are just things he's repeating. When the mother gorilla (Kala) sings "You'll be in my Heart" to Tarzan (then Phil Collins breaks in for a minute) it ends with the word "always" which Kala whispers to Tarzan at the end of the song. Last week when I was putting him to bed, we went through the usual routine of I love you's and good nights. As I was about to get up and turn off the light I said "I love you" one last time and he put his hands on my cheeks and whispered "always." Now when he goes to bed, "always" is part of the routine. And anytime I say I love you to him, he says it.

That is such a sweet and heart felt story. It touched my heart and I started crying when I read your story. So very sweet. Your son hears everything! He knows how much you love him. Even if he can't communicate his observations back to you. He hears! Be blessed and be well. Blessing on your son, too!

I don't have kids for the moment, but I have a 4 years old cousin who just say the cutest thing. The other I went to see my uncle new batheroon and she was there. She was really happy to see me, because she don,t see me as much as her other cousin. I was talking with my mom and uncle and suddendly she gave me 1cent. I told her why she gave me that and she only answer : because I love you. For her 1cent is a really big thing, so to give it to me was a very big present :P
