It's DVD rental time again. And, I was wondering if "Because I said so!" was a good movie, or not?
It's got one of my favorite actresses, Lauren Graham.
But, I'm not sure if it's just another chick flick or has substance. Don't get me wrong. I like chick flicks. But, sometimes Diane Keaton films go a little too far in the crying department. Too much melodrama, not my style.
Hopefully, it will have something relevant to say. Please share your personal review of the movie.

I had seen the movie last saturday and I guarantee you, It is worth your time viewing it.
I don't actually like movies which makes you say, "DAH!!! what's that?" or end up crying so hard, hiding your tears. In short, movies like telenovela or heavy drama.
The movie is so light and entertaining as well. Go for it girl.

I saw this dvd last week I liked it pretty good myself. I think I liked it because Stephen Collins was in it also. he ended up dating Diane Keaton he was the dad of the man she had set her daughter up with. I thought it was a good movie but maybe a little to much crying like you said.

In my Opinion, I think Diane Keaton did an excellent job in this movie, and I really enjoyed it. This is a Movie I am glad we rented, and I eventually would Love to add it to my collection. I just am Glad I am not the Single dauughter with a Mom like that.
But for anyone who likes a Good Romance and a Comedy style movie to boot, this is a Great movie. Not sure why it got such Bad reviews though as I really liked it. And my husband thought it was pretty Good as well.
And when someone asks you why, remember to tell them, "Because I Said So."

hello beautyqueen26...i like the movie though. i even placed because i said so" as a start up note on my phone when i turn it on..maybe you appreciate more about it when you become a parent yourself...but there are also a downside of not going overboard going through your kids personal life...but a nice movie for mothers and their kids...

I love Lauren Graham too.
I haven't seen that movie yet but I plan to. It was a mom's night out event with a mom's group I belong to but I didn't get to attend. It got great reviews from our group. But take into consideration that many had not been to a movie with out the kids in years. ;P

We watched it on our girls night and we all really enjoyed the movie. We liked it so much that we made a copy of it after watching it. I think that you would like it and we found it worth paying the price to rent it.

I personally was bored silly by the movie. There was one cute scene with static, but overall a snoozer to me.
