So many places in the scriptures it talks about the covenant but I never hear too many people talk about it. Some have said the new covenant and the old covenant why ?

i'm not sure if i understand exactly what you're asking for. but to simply put it, a "covenant" is basically a promise. a deep promise. c',)

It's a shame that in Luke 22:20 Jesus says the cup is the new covenant in his blood and no one knows what a covenant is ?Read Genesis 15

if you simply read the text in the bible and not internalize it, it is understandable you think it that way. the cup and the blood is the seal of the new covenant. the seal of that promise..
