All advice is appreciated. I have been job hunting for a job for a year and dont know what i am doin wrong. I clean up and dress nice and speak well and answer questions well at interviews, i think anyway. I am not under qualified or overqualified. I think you have to have connections to get a job these days. I am getting so depressed and discouraged and very very very broke. I applied last week for a factory position which you dont have to have experience for, theyre training because they are expanding and allready i know someone who has been hired (she called them every day) with which I think i would get it before her. I havent heard from them yet. I applied on june 7, 2007 and I tried calling them and couldnt get an answer so I went by there on june 13 and they said they have been busy and havent reviewed the aps yet and I called back on June 15 and spoke to the manager and he said he was going to review them that afternoon which was Friday and today is Monday June 18. So I thought they might call for interviews tomorrow or the next day, when do you think they will? When should I call them back?-----What should I say when I do? What should I do? What are your experiences and knowledge of my situation? I would really love to get a job working for this company, It pays really well and has good benefits and is a great company for the area i live in. They have a ton of positions available too. When I first applied i was told they were going to bring people in in groups. What does that mean?

i don't have much experience in job hunting, all i know is to stay calm and control your anxiety, just be yourself. don't be so unconfident about yourself, how can someone count on you if you even don't believe yourself? i think you are just doing fine, the problem lies in the leaders of the factory, maybe they have some connections. like you said, so don't be discouraged and go on with your self-dignity. even though hunting a job is harder these days.
