Does your child sleep sitting up?

My daughter has the funniest way of taking a nap. She sits in her favorite green mini rocking chair and rocks herself back and forth until she passes out. She's big enough now, that she stays put while she sleeps. But, most times I do move the chair closer to the bed so that she will have a soft landing if she falls over. But, stranger than that, she'll get up during the middle of the night and go into the computer room and rock herself to sleep in my big red arm chair (aka. Mama's work chair). I'm not sure why she does this. Recently, we had to move her bed out of her room, because of an ant infestation. And, now her bed is elsewhere in the house, so maybe she's not making the adjustment well. Does your child sleep upright in a chair? Have you ever woke up in the morning to find your child asleep elsewhere in the house? Please tell me I'm not alone in this!

If my son ever falls asleep on the sofa he will wake up grouggy and grouchy then fall back to sleep sitting straight up. It is really quite cute but pitiful at the same time. I take a quick picture of it when it happens then go gently nudge him back down. I have not experienced waking up and finding him sleeping somewhere else other than his bed. Unless of course I consider the many nights he comes and crawls in bed with us.
