When was the last time you 'gave up'?

When was the last time that you said; "Alright, mate - you can no longer keep this up; you just have to give up". I have come close; but haven't really given up anything really major. Have you ever quit something without trying for a while? I could change to an easier subject; but I'm not sure if I should; should I persevere with it and work harder; if it means I get a lower score? Looking forward to your opinion on this contentious issue.

I don't ever recall a time when i just gave up. There's been hundreds of times when i've wanted to, but i've never said that's it i quit or i'm so done, or any of those things. i think when it comes to that point you have to look into yourself, and see what's really important to you. If your willing to throw in the towel, then it's really not that important to you after all is it.

It very much depends if you have the resources to make it happen... and if you are strong willed to see it through. Stong willed people work 60 hours a week to achieve their goals. And despite that... it does not work everytime. Because if you devote your life to working to make money... you sacrifice your real life... which is your personal life. You should not set yourself some impossible tasks... as you will end up banging your head against a brick wall... and it will destroy your life. In that case it is better to give up before even starting. It is all about setting some achievable goals and being strong willed to carry them through. That take a lot of discipline... and not everyone can do it. But every successful person is strong willed and has a lot of discipline. It is the only way to achieve success. I have gave up on things a few time in my life because it was too hard. I also hit my head against a brick wall for six years... trying to achieve the impossible.

Well, I must say that it has been awhile since I have felt that way. I guess now that I am a little bit older, I can see myself going through something without giving up that easily at all.

I've given up like that many times, but most of them i've regretted of my decission..so i've learned that if you want something, then endure and try hard...be persistant...because even if it finally doesn't work out, you will feel better with yourself.
