Roger Waters or David Gilmour??

The best for me was Syd Barret time.

Both david gilmour and roger waters together were the best...They are inseparable and both are so great it would be injustice to both their talents to compare them...But if i were to make a choice still, i think david gilmour is my favourite... His voice is divine and after the pulse show at london, i had gone crazy...I am such a big fan of david gilmour, nonetheless pink floyd as a whole is my all time favourite...Cheers

i think that both are great artist and represents some pink floyd´s eras, every one has a lot of influence and made a lot of things to make the best band to pink floyd. both made a great work and pink floyd could not be the band that it was if they didn´t play there.

I think both Roger Waters and David Gilmour were brilliant musicians themselves, but together they were the main driving force of what made Pink Floyd great before Waters left.

The whole is greater than the sum of the parts--- and that is the sad part. They were brilliant TOGETHER.

As a person I prefer Roger Waters I don't know why maybe because he was always a member of the band. David Gilmour is a better guitarist but I like Roger Waters lyrics as has already been said they were great together, it's hard to choose just one.

gilmore is the voice and guitar of the group. End of discussion as to who is the best.
