Are there any Mandarin Chinese speakers who are learning English?

Ni hao. It is very nice to meet you, too. I am learning Mandarin Chinese very slowly. I am slowed down by a very painful back injury and weeks of painful physical therapy. If you don't mind my slowness, it would be great to chat with you. :-) I am very much a beginner at Chinese. I know more Pinyin than I do characters, and really I don't know much Pinyin either.

I do not know how to write Chinese characters in myLot but if you do not mind if I use the occasional Pinyin, that will be great.
