How often do you feed your cat(s)?

I used to feed mine twice a day. Recently I have switched to a mixture of biscuits and meat once in the morning. My tomcat Forest was starting to pile on the pounds, but his sister Bumble has always been skinny, so I try to give her extra whenever he's not around. Occasionally they will get extra cat treats or some tinned salmon or left over chicken in the evening, no more than once a week. They like scrambled eggs too!! What and when do you feed your cats?

I feed my cats once a day. I 2 cats and I fill up their bowl and they eat when they feel like it. They are not fat and seem to know to eat just the right amount. They are a year old now. If the start getting fat then I will have to limit their food.

We give our cats indoor cat food once a day. What we do because we have 2 cats is we fill there dish first thing in the morning andthey have a large dish for cats and it lasts them all day till the next morning when my husband will fill it in the morning. Once in a while I will give them some cooked chicken or tuna when I am making dinner with it.

My cats need to watch their weight (or rather, I need to watch it for them) too. They are indoor cats, so they don't get as much exercise as an outdoor cat. I leave dry kibble out for them all the time, a mixture of IAMS weight control and a prescription Science Diet that is good for their teeth. I give them each half a can of IAMS wet food a day, which they love. Occasionally I will give them Lean Treats, which are little treats sold by my vet. Occasionally I will give them chicken off my plate.

I don't actually feed them a meal at a given moment of the day. In the morning, I fill up their buckets with rations, and put more when they have eaten all up, along the day. And no, they are not fat because of that.
