Internet radio involves the delivery of audio programming via digital means from one computer to other computers over the internet. It involves both simulcast of existing over-the-air radio stations and content from internet-only stations. Internet radio was made possible in 1995 by the arrival of streaming technology.

yeah, i sometimes listen to one of the main spanish radio stations through the net because i don't have any radio available...then i listen to a heavy metal music station that can only be heard through the net, and considering there are almost no traditional stations that pay attention to that kind of music, i listen to new songs there.

I have heard Internet Radio a lot of times , but sometimes when my internet is going on slower I can't because to listen Internet radio you need a good internet connection, I always search for a rock station to 64k and my computer will work fine, I think with the time the radio with turn totally on internet, it would happen also to the television, I wonder of think what radio station would exist in the future, it is really great be able to listen radio station around the world with your computer, I didn't know that Internet radio was made possible in 1995 by the arrival of streaming technology, I am not using internet so longer, I would like to know which was the first radio station on Internet.
