Who Owns The Baby?

I was playing with my cat when I recieved this text message -
In a court a mother and a father was fighting over a baby - if which of them has the right.
The women said the she endured all the pain of carrying the baby into the world. She has been awake hundred nights just to nurse.
But the lawyer of the man said - A man with a dollar went into a vending machine. He was thirsty so he slid his dollar to buy a can of soda.
So the machine released the soda, who owns the soda then?
the man? [father]
or the vending machine? [mother]
I want to know what you think guys, If who should own the baby.
Well I go with the mother but, I dont really know who really should have the baby so Im asking the regular originals there :)

Nobody owns the baby, as the baby is a person in itself. Both parents have rights to be in the baby's life and to raise the baby, as well as the responsibilities that is entailed in raising the baby. Though the woman carries the baby, without the man, there would not have been a baby to carry. Unless the man is nothing other than a sperm donor, or abusive, they both should have equal rights
