Tighter rules on GPT sites, are you staying with this?

Quite a few of the GPT to sites I belong to have up dated their TOS or Rules or watever you want to call them. Two have included a "no pre-paid credit card" rule. Others have changed their payment date, since they can't pay out until they get paid by the advertisers. This is all due to fraud and offers being reversed. The reversals even affect the quick/ free offers offers - zip and email submits, surveys etc - so that you can't do them on multiple sites. If you are a honest user, how do you feel about this? Will you stay with GPT sites?

I know things have tightened up and to a point I really can't blame the site owners. I am an honest user and I do plan to stay with the GPT sites, there are some specific ones that have stated that they will continue to accept PPD cards, and those are the ones that I will continue to work as far as trials. Check out my blog if you are interested in some sites that I have listed that you may not be a member of...especially MyCashSafari and SpareStash. The admin at MyCashSafari is awesome!!! Here is my blog link htt://jenjen98.blogspot.com

Nice blog. I joined Cash Safari not that long ago and have already earned over $40, I will check out Sparestash. One site that works well, that I don't have on my blog (they are really new and I don't feel comfortable adding a paying site even if it is only a month or two old) that you should check out is Cashlinks. It is actually owned by a MyLotter. Another great site is Fairy Tale Treasure, they have an interesting daily trivia and you get "lamps" just for being an active member. Like Cash Safari it has a ton of zip & email submits. I made over $30 in less than 2 hours there (not including contest winnings).

It is frustrating as an honest user, especially as I have been with some sites for 3+ years. But I can completely understand. If they aren't getting paid, they can't pay their members. The payment date is the most frustrating of all. I am now having to wait almost 2 months on some sites to get paid. But again I can understand the changes, just doesn't mean I have to like them :)

I agree, the changes are needed. I don't rely on the money, but it would be nice to have. I was going to use my June payments to cover my sons daycare for 2 weeks because it is very expensive. All of the regular day camps here close 2 weeks before school starts and only a few of the really expensive camps are open. The expense is going from $60 a week for daycare at his school to $150 a week (yes, $150) for daycare at the local gym. It would have been nice to get all of my mid-month payouts to cover the expense.

I don't know about this stuff because I only belong to two sites, this one and a survey site. But they did have a question in one of the surveys askings how many sites we belonged to and which ones. I wonder if this had to do with what you are mentioning.

I welcome the changes, well that is except for the new payment schedule anyway. I will stay with them as long as they continue to add new offers. I will probably just concentrate on 2 or three of the better ones though as I've spread myself so thin I haven't been able to maximize my earnings on any one site.

Unfortunately, I am already seeing a huge drop in offers on the sites I really enjoy. I was pulling in quite a bit of money with out doing duplicate offers on site. Now I feel like I have to belong to many sites to pull in the same amount of money. I could be wrong about that though.

I am a honest user, however, I found it very difficult to get very many offers approved. Did everything I was supposed to do, but still very few were accepted. So not sure if the whole problem is with users and fraud or if it has more to do with the over population of these sites. I guess some people have better luck with these type of sites than others. It was my understanding that you could only do an offer one time, no matter what the offer, freebie, zip, survey, etc. Anyway, I think the GPT as we knew it is probably coming to an end, or maybe just a needed change. Good luck with these sites, I know some people earning a good income, if nothing else just from referrals.

I think they key is to find the right site for you. I have a few I participate and only do the offers that are not the same on each site. I have tried out quite a few - possibly over 15 - of the sites and only a handful have really worked for me.

I'm going to address your comment on the approval of offers. I complained bitterly about that, so much so that I stopped doing offers altogether. But then a few days ago and again yesterday I came across detailed instructions on how to correctly delete the cookies after completing each offer. The instructions I came across yesterday specifically addressed IE7. The word is, do not use IE7 when doing offers. ONLY use IE6. So I unstalled IE7 and installed IE6 and did a number of offers. I concentrated on one site. Sure enough my offers started being approved. As of my last look at around noon today I was up $18.00. I'm not writing from home right now so I don't want to sign on to check. And that's the other thing...ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS...did I say ALWAYS...log in on the same computer you signed up on. This way there is no chance of your being accused of having multiple accounts.

It depends on the site and as always when people tend to do crappy things they mess things up for everyone...This site is pretty new and I have never had any reversals and most of my offers credit and credit within a few minutes for the majority www.cavstreasurechest.com
