Hello fellow army/military spouses! Just wanted to know if there were any of you going through or preparing to go through a deployment? My husband will be deploying soon and I'm starting to feel anxious. It's not his first deployment and that fact does not make it easier to face. He'll be going to Iraq and that has me extremely concerned! Just curious to know if there were any fellow mylot spouses going through this right now. I would love to hear from you and to hear how you are doing!

hi, i'm sorry that he is being deployed again. this is my husband's second deployment to iraq in four years and we've only been married almost four years. i would like to tell you that the anxiousness shouldn't be there, but i can't. there will be alot of sleepless nights and a lot of worrying and crying because you miss him so much. i have done this twice now and it doesn't get easier with each deployment, but you also need to understand that it takes a special woman to be an army wife. we are strong and we survive even when we don't want to. you will be okay and your husband will be okay. you just have to have faith that this will happen. i'm sorry your about to go through it, but it's worth it in the end to have him home again. he's defending our country and you should be proud, which i'm sure you are extrememly proud of him. if you need to talk i'm here. just pm me. i can help you through as much as i possibly can. God bless you and your husband.

Hi! I'm not going threw it yet. But I have alot of close friends that have or are going threw it now. So I will be here for you to just vent or what ever you need to do. It always helps me to have some one to talk to who won't tell me "I know how you feel. It's like when blah blah blah". I won't tell you that so if you need some one to just be a sound board let me know. Hope everything is going great other wise and you are staying strong and active.
