Well everyone, Remember I was telling everyone about feet swelling up?

I went to Emergency 2 weeks ago and everyone come up with a different diagnose, I know no one is a Doctor, But I figure that if I told you all you could come up with answer, Well I went to another doctor, before they couldn't fine anything wrong, at the Hospital. they took Blood test. they didn't fine anything. so My girl-friend dragged me out of bed, 3:30 in the morning she saids come on we are going to the Doctor, well, I went to Clinic, they took blood work, and This one Phychian Asst, told me I have a lot of Fliud in me she put me on water pills and you know what, my feet went down. That Asst. told me looks like I have a Tuma on My knee it looks like a big knot size of a quarter and is getting bigger, Frankly I have been worried about this. Then I get a letter in the mail from the Clinic today saying that MY BLOOD IS ABNORMAl. I am really scare now. I am just going to pray about it. you all pray for me too! Thank you for listen, It always make me feel good to get support from you all. Thanks Marcie. Have a wonder eveing, I am going to a Concert to night with My sister to take my mind of of things remember I told everyone I won two ticket for Jazz Concert well this is the night!

Hopefully it is nothing and just a test that needs to be redone, but I wish you the best outcome no matter what. Have a great time tonite, wish I was going too .. I love jazz, have FUN, fun, fun with your sister and take pictures to post tomorrow.

I just got a letter in the mail yesterday they say My blood work was abnoromal. I go to doctor June 29th. 8:30am. I will keep you posted. Have a nice week-end.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems. It's good that you're going to a concert tonight- have fun! It's important to keep busy so that you don't worry too much. It's also important to keep the followup appointments! The abnormal blood work might be relating to your kidneys, which could cause your feet to swell up. It's most likely something that can be diagnosed and treated, but you have to do your part and keep going back to the provider until you are better. The knot on your knee is most likely not related to the swelling- maybe it's a cyst. Does it hurt or bother you? I hope that you're better soon, and I'll keep you in prayers.

This is from an article on Men's Health I was reading to my husband the other night. I was worried because his feet become very swollen alot. It can take days for the swelling to go down with out any "water pills" and I worry that it is a symptom of something more serious.
Leg Swelling: When fluid accumulates in your feet, ankles or legs, don't ignore it. The swelling also called edema, may be a warning of heart, liver or kidney disease. While there are medications (diuretics, or "water pills") that can help reduce the swelling, it is critical to find the underlying cause: Is the heart not pumping effectively? Ate the kidneys not filtering all the fluid they're supposed to? Is the liver congested? A basttery of tests is likely to reveal the reason and get you started on the right course of treatment.

i am sorry about this thing but i am sure you will be fine and your blood will be normal when are done with the treatment....Don't worry about and enjoy the concert with your sister...I will definately pray for you....

I will be Praying for you, and believing God for healing. I know myself when I am all Swollen I hurt more, and even though some of my Doctors are against me taking Water pills, when I hurt the most, that is some of what helps bring more relief. Please keep us updated, and hope you have a wonderful time at the Concert.

Include me also as your prayer warrior, Marcie. =) I sure do hope that everything turns out all right & that it will be easily medicated if ever. Just remember to relax (&yay for you for attending that jazz concert) since sometimes worrying too much can aggravate things. Yup--I do agree with you that Mylot is such a great community & its members do pull through for you in down times...thanks as well for your nice thoughts & go & listen to more jazz =)! Go to the concert with your sister and have fun. Then take the water pills and follow up with the doctor. Your blood would be "abnormal" if your body is fighting off something. You have a very good girl friend who cares about you very much. I don't think my best friend would drag me out of bed at 3:30 in the morning unless it was an emergency. Treasure your friend since she is trying to help you find answers to your problems. Friends like that will help you get through everything.
