Do you still play with toys?

Despite the fact that I am allegedly a grown up, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who still occasionally plays with toys. I came home from work today and my fiance had pulled his Legos out from their storage spot, and is currently (still) at work creating all sorts of neat stuff. I will probably join him in a little bit to make a creation of my own. Especially for those of you without kids, do you still play with any of your old toys? Or if you do have kids, do they have toys that you wish you had had when you were a kid?

I still play with Legos. The only difference between then and now is I can build bigger structures than before. I actually think Legos are more suitable for adults than for children.

Sure do! I still have my first My Little Pony from when I was a kid. "AppleJack" I still like brushing her hair and braiding it or whatever. I also like construction sets, I can't remember what the one I like is called, but it's not legos, instead it works with magnnets and metal ball bearings. It's addictive! I also like playing with playdough or clay. That clay you can bake in the oven is pretty fun. Oh! Ans how could I forget shrinky-dinks! At some craft stores you can get blank shrinky-dink paper and design your own. That's really fun too.

I really need to get some of that Shrinky Dink film. Unfortunately, I think I have a few too many craft projects going right now... :) I almost bought some off-brand Play-Doh last night... :)

the shrinky dink stuff is really cool. My sister and I make charms for necklaces with it. Plus it's fun watching it do it's shrinky thing.

I still play with toys. I see no shame in that. I play with legos, linkin logs, dolls, my little ponies and all kinds of stuff. Sometimes it helps me get creative.

Well since I have a daycare, I have the perfect excuse to play with toys :) I sit down on the floor and I build blocks with the kids and play with Barbie dolls also. My favorite is when we pull out all the play kitchen foods and have a pretend picnic. Oh and I love to color with new crayons!

You're so lucky to have an "excuse", haha. I use my grand-neice as my excuse ;)

Oh, yes...I still play with toys. As a matter of fact, I was just playing with my little grand-neices baby toys not too long ago. The thing is, toys now are so neat. Especially the baby toys. Everything makes a noise and feels different, there's all kinds of knobs, buttons, and levers to play with. She seems to get a kick out of my responses to it all, lol.

I never had Lego's as a kid but I sure have tons of them now! I got hooked on the castle theme about fifteen years ago and fell in love with it. There's so much you can do with them and if you ever get bored with a design or scene, you can rip it apart and build something else. When I was younger I always wanted one of those EZ Bake Ovens; I bought one a couple years ago and wasn't all that impressed with it. I guess when you are seven or eight it's a big thrill lol.

I still do play with toys when I play with my 1 year old daughter. It brings out the child in me.

I will walk in the store and if I am looking for toys for my kids I will for sure test the music or buttons on them. I realize I am grown but I feel we all we always have a little kid left in us. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.
