Will the U.S. presidential election affect other countries?

Do you think the upcoming presidential election is going to affect other countries? With so much happening all over the world, I was wondering what both Americans and those from other countries think about the affects of this. Do people in other countries follow what is happening here and follow the different views of the politians running?

America is only super power of the global village. He seem behind the curtain of puppetshow is being played in about every country of the word. Upcoming presidential election in America would automatically affect the politics of the countries under the supevision and control of America, as I think.
