What does "unresolved discussion" mean?

I thought it meant those discussions I started that did not have any response but 2 of the discussions I have started had responses already but they are still classified as "unresolved discussion", am i missing something here? please enlighten me, thanks.

Unresolved discussions here in mylot contains your discussions started with no responses. In this sense, you could trace your threads that contains no replies. Secondly, it also contains your discussions started with replies but you have not selected the best response from among them.
If i may suggest, always be reminded to start discussions that you think best falls on everybody's interests for them to react and reply on it and also, make sure to select the BEST RESPONSE in your discussions' responses to avoid it from flooding your unresolved discussions folder.

"unresolved discussion" means, discussions which you do not still choose who will be your "best response".As long as you choose any best response to your discussions, then, it wont be longer in "unresolved discussion".
