Why Top Gun?

Why do you recommend Top Gun to be one of the movies to be watched? For me it's because of the story and of course, TOM CRUISE. I really like him. He's so cute and good looking. Every girl dreams of Tom Cruise.
What I like most here is when he quit Top Gun due to his principle. And his love for his partner Goose.

I love it because it's a well-rounded movie. It's got something for everyone. The romance angle of the storyline for women, and the military/brash carelessness/rivalry angle for men (and women).
Tom Cruise doesn't do anything for me. I've never really thought he was very attractive. Actually, I'd take Goose over Maverick anyday.

the movie is great!!! the storyline is just great. but i still love tom cruise over goose.

the movie got very famous because of tom cruise and also because it was one of the first that showed modern combat but seriously anyone who has a little knowledge about planes and aviation would find so many serious mistakes in the movie. i was very young the time i saw this movie as i was really fond of airplanes but after sometime, when i watched it again, i thought it was a big joke (with all the mistakes). the story wasn't good at all too.
the only thing that i still love about this movie is the songs. i have all of them on my PC, all of the tracks are SOOOO good.
