Natural disaster

Hhave you ever been through a natural disaster? What kind was it? We don't really have anything like that here where I live so I've never had it happen to me.

I once was on an airplane that got hit by lightening. The pilot got the plane safe to the ground. The airline then paid me for the train to go home. It was a strange situation in my life but nothing bad really happened.
