Can't believe it, we was only there a few weeks ago in Boscastle Cornwall and today it's been flooded again:-( Its not as bad as a few years ago, but still it's a blow for some - Luckily it looks like the witches museum has missed the flooding. Three years ago it was all but washed away, but they have managed to get it back up and running!

It's too bad they didn't put up some kind of safety to protect the buildings so that this didn't happen again... it's just sad to see something like this... But the plus side is that like you said, the witches museum wasn't harmed, yay.

It is really sad, when I was there a few weeks ago they were still working on the defenses, luckily this time the museum wasn't harmed as far as I know, it's still sad for the rest of the shops though! Thanks for responding!

A lot of england has been hit bad huh? I forget where it was but on my local news a village just out side of where I live was covered by a lake of water. It was about up to the bedroom window, which makes me so glad I live on a hill :) See you around bizziebod.. ~Joey P.s I'm glad your still here, for awhile I feared that you had left us :(

Hi Joey, it wasn't really too bad here until a couple of days ago and then we had torrential rain and that's when everywhere started flooding (doesn't take much as we're quite low lying here in Devon) Oh I've been around but not much due to work and only been able to answer a few a day! Thanks for your concern though! Take care :-)

Oh dear they say when it rains it pours l iterally eh? Why can't they sort this out so that id doesn't happen again? This must be a menace to all the pilgrims lol as they wouldn't want to see their place ruined like this.

Well when I was there a couple of weeks ago they were still working on the defences. Apparantly blocked drains for the work is a major cause this time.. Thanks for responding!

Good to hear that the witches museum missed the floodings--maybe some magic was involved to protect it? LOL

I am so glad that the museum was missed by this flood water, Bizziebod...it takes so long to clean up after water damage...the restorations were quite extensive... Thanks for sharing this with us, my friend...

You're welcome, I saw it on the local news and thought I would tell people especially as it wouldn't be on national or international tv. Thanks for your response.

Oh I can't believe it's been flooded again! Last year I watched a program about it, it was heartbreaking :(

Yeah it was really sad and I got particularly upset because of the witches museum got absolutely wrecked. It's nowhere near as bad as last time, but still heartbreaking for those shops that have got flooded yet again! Thanks for your response!
