hi ms chiqui, FYI nursing profession is still in the demand even after 10 yrs. more. Especially filipino nurses, because of the extra ordinary care and touch that we have. Im still in to nursing studies at the age of 32 but I find this course very interesting. As my mentor always tells me "Life is not easy but life is beautiful".Same with taking this course, it is a great challenge to your life, its not easy and you have to pass all the obstacles most especially after you graduated.Pass the board exam and all other or some of foreign examination and that's it!!!!! You will not hunt for a job, the job will hunt you....

Nursing is in demand, much likely if she want to land a job on other country. But if she wants sure job, she could consider, IT, international technology, since there are many call center company here in the phils, and this courses are offered in many schools. But if you will ask me, Nursing is better, atleast you can earn dollar when you will be working outside the country.

I think nursing job is still in demand nowadays but in able for you to compete in job vacancies you have to complete it and get the license, then afterwards take masteral degree for getting more credentials. Aside from nursing, i guess she may take tourism as she can apply for a position of flight attendant. For your cousin, I think what matters is which course she really like no matter the course is in demand or not. Her interest should be in the course she will take up because you can expect that she will give her best on it. Jobs in demand i guess varies from which country you are from, just like in asia there are lots of engineering courses which are in demand nowaday for a reason that most of manufacturing companies were being established in asia. Aside from those jobs are english teacher, being fluent in english is an advantage because there are many students from asia which their native tongue were chinese, korean, japanese who try to study english. YOu can have a part time tutorial job if ever.

Hello mschiqui. i think in choosing a profession, it is more important to choose where you think you can excel the most. like finding a job that will make you feel like you are not working. however, for people who are practical, getting a degree is mostly about getting employed in a job that pays well and who will give more opportunities for advancement. nursing is one profession that is very in-demand nowadays especially for the First World countries.it is mostly because of the aging of the baby boomers and retirement of nurses. attractive salary attracts many to pursue nursing as evident by the nursing schools that had sprouted rywhere. indemand profesiuons are in the field of engineering, nursing, and Information technology. however , i once read an article saying that the Philippines are producing more nurses than the world demands. for this reason, oversupply of nurses looms in the future

Hello mschiqui!(",) I think your cousin should pursue nursing if she wanted to have a job and work abroad. Not only it is in demand in the USA but also in some countries in Europe and Middle East. The course is indeed expensive but the earning is also good if you will be able to work abroad. Aside from nursing, computer courses are also in demand. Well, your cousin should follow her heart if she wanted to live a life with no regrets. Have a great day!(",)

I encourage my sister to take up education. She just enrolled this semester. I think the most in demand course is education. All over the world, they are looking for teachers. In the Philippines alone, education is very in-demand. Aside from the fact that education is cheaper. After college and passed the board exam, a graduate can easily land a job in teaching. Later can go abroad if there's a need. Or take up masters for promotion. I am not an education graduate, I am an engineer, but I think education is one of the best course. Specially for those who have the passion of teaching. Elementary Education major in Special Education is in-demand today. Go tell your friends about this. God bless!

I'm not sure where you live but in the U.S., nursing is a great major to study because they is a shortage of them and are in a high demand. The computer field and the business and management fields are booming here too.
