what do you want from your work?
what do you want from your work ?
Money? Promotion? Intreseting challenge? Continual learning ? Word-based friendships? The
opportunity to develope your own idea and potentials?
Though we are all individuals and so our answers will differ .all agree that work provides more
than material things

I want money from my work as my main purpose to work is making a living. In the mean time, I will dedicate myself while working for my work and expect to be recognised and appreciated for my contribution. If there is a promotion or interesting challenge, I will give it a try so that I know how far (high) I have reached.

I don't want anything from work. I recently opted for early retirement. So I have no expectations from work any more. When I was working in management the past years, my greatest hopes were to be treated with respect and to receive recognition for my contributions to the company. That wasn't happening, and kept getting worse. Hence, the option for early retirement.

I work as a writer, and I have a cookbook published. It's nice to be able to work by myself and for myself, not having to worry about other people, rules, and things like that. As long as I make enough money to live, I'm happy with my work. I don't really need social connecrions from employment.
