So, we finally broke down and got broadband. Now posting on My Lot is a breeze. Playing online games is super easy. But, AOL mails still boots so slow. What's up with AOL mail? They go out of their way to let people have free AOL mailboxxes, but then give poor service. Why am I not surprised!

Yes! I love, love, love Yahoo mail! It's got billions of email storage space. I will open a new account for my friends and surveys and such, and just update all my accounts to use that email address. Thanks for the suggestion. I gave you best response!

All I can say is that's AOL for ya. I hate AOL. I know a lot of people really love it and swear by it. Like my mom for example. She was on dial up with AOL for the longest time. She recently got DSL and now she's paying extra to have AOL for broadband. Maybe it's just me but I think that's just silly. But hey it's her money so whatevery lol. Me and my fiance run a computer repair business and AOL has been notorious for slowing computers down. They just have so much extra stuff running in the background it's not even funny.

I havent had an AOL account in over 15 years. long time I know. but the reason I dont have an AOL account is the reasons you mention. I would drop that account and get one from hotmail, yahoo, or even gmail. all are good and all are free. just keep the aol mail till you get all your contacts moved over to the new email address you choose.
