I wonder how many of you out there use worcestershire sauce in the dishes you cook? Can you share with me what kind of dishes you cook which requires the addition of this sauce. Recently, I bought a bottle and do not have a clue how to use it. Please help, thank you.

LOL OK I have to ask. If you don't know how to use it why did you buy it? Anyway, I put it in stuff like my hamburger mixture for patties. I don't use it too often but that is what I use it most for. I will also put it in my homemade hamburger helper. Anything like that to give it a little bite. :)

Thank you for responding. It was one of those times when one buys things on impulse if you know what I mean :)

I use Worcestershire sauce to marinate burger, beef stew, steak and fish. Pretty nice.

Thank you for responding. I have as yet tried Worcestershire sauce on fish. What else do you need to add besides this sauce?

I am writing down a very easy and fast recipe where you can use Worcestershire sauce. i hope you can use it this way and you may even like the dish too. all you need to do is...................... take 1 cup lightly salted butter, softened 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese , at room temperature. 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 2 cup all-purpose flour this is optional-----poppy seeds or sesame seeds lightly butter 2 baking sheets. preheat oven to 350 degree. beat butter with the cheese until smooth. beat in seasonings and then flour. turn the dough out on a lightly floured board and knead for a minute or a two until blended. Roll out dough to 1/2" thick , cut with cookie cutter. Sprinkle poppy or sesame seeds if desired bake until edges are light brown , about 7 minutes. it is done.

I use it in my wing sauce. Also I make a little mixture of worcestershire sauce and butter, and fry my hotdogs in it. Don't forget you need it for a good Bloody Mary! I can't think of anything else off the top of my head at the moment. But you could go to a recipe site and type it in and see what comes up. Also worcestershire sauce shelf life holds up a long time.

I usually put it on meat that's going on the grill. Not always, but that's the most common time I use it.

Hmm ,seems like it is only used for meat. How about vegetables and stews? It is a wee bit and sourish ,isn't it?

You can use it with anything that uses tomato sauce or tomato paste. A few drops is enough.
