do you eat lunch/dinner somewhere other than the dining table?

I usually eat dinner in the living room while watching tv, or at the kitchen table. The dining room in my house in reserved for special occasions only, such as Christmas & Easter dinner (my family is not religious, but these holidays are part of a cultural custom).

I eat at the coffee table in the living room, because we don't have a dining room. My son has a little plastic table and chairs in his bedroom that he brings into the living room to sit at for meals sometimes. Otherwise he'll just bring in one of the chairs to sit on while he sits at the coffee table with me.

We hardly ever eat at the table. We normally eat dinner in the living room while watching tv. I eat lunch everyday in the living room while on my laptop. We use to eat at the table but just slowly got away from doing that. Although every once in awhile we will sit at the table and eat, especially if we are eating something that is real messy.

We usually eat on the couch in the living room while we watch TV. I think we've eaten at the kitchen table maybe twice in the last 8 years. And, that was when we had company.

I usually eat dinner in my bed watching TV. My husband works late so I usually eat when he's still at work. And my son usually eats at a different time than I do.
