I sent her an e-mail asking her not to use my picture again and she said she could if she wanted too, and that she might have to report me because my auctions look like hers. So I looked at her other auctions and she had copied 3 of my other auctions, word for word. She didn't even change anything up so it wasn't so bad....she was really snotty so I put a copyright on all of my auctions now. If she wants to copy my wording at least she could change them up a little bit so it wouldn't be so bad!! E-aby said they won't do anything if I don't have my listing copyrighted...so I am doing it now on all of my auctions.

I am glad that you have a way to stop her...How sad for someone to just steal your stuff.."what goes around, comes around," and she will get hers when she least expects it....

It happens so many cases of copying some one's picture of the item but i have never heard about stolen other member's picture. This rediculous! If you want to warn him/her you can send a message to him/her.If he/she ignore you then you can go ahead and report them.

I sent her an e-mail asking her to not use my picture again and she actually had the nerve to tell me I copied her picture!! And asome of her other auctions as well and she just might report me for stealing from her!! How crazy is that?? So I looked at her other auctions and three more were exact copies of mine!! I couldn't believe it, she couldn't even change some words around so it wouldn't be so bad!! So now I put a copyright thingy on all of my listings so if she does it again I can report her, on the Ebay site it said your pictures and text have to be copyrighted in order for them to cancel someone else's listings.

That's completely unacceptable ! I don't understand how those people can leave with no regret and guilt towards their wrong doing.Well ,i am glad you had the copy right registered for your auction.I wish you all the best.

wow you must be really goodlooking for someone to steal your photo haha. i think you should just report them and see what ebay staff will do about it :) you should also send him/her a message or something asking why he took your photo. just a suggestion though!

If you report it to ebay, they will remove the auction and reprimand the person that stole the picture! I would also message the person and let them know you are reporting them and find it ridiculous that they had to steal your picture! Ebay will take care of it though, they will remove the accounts of repeat offenders, but if no one reports them, they'll never know!

I am hoping to sell some of my native American crafts on EBay in the future (if I can get my computer running right and I can get a camera that works) The crafts are original and if someone tried to use my pictures then they would have a hard time to sent the craft to the winner. Maybe when I take the pictures I will add my name or some other identifying characteristic to the picture.
