im from iligan city... the city of waterfalls.... if i have the money and time... first ill visit all the waterfalls here... then go to camiguin island....then to bohol... sequijor.....dapitan also.. where rizal was exiled.... basta... anywhere in the philippines.... i would take pictures too.....

Like you, I want to explore my country first, before exploring the world. I can go on exploring our country forever and not get tired. Why? There are 7,107 islands in the Philippines waiting for us to be explored. I think we can travel without going broke. We usually get seat sale promos offered by local airlines whose travel dates are usually months ahead. I also do my research online and visit some travel forums to get feedback on cheap accommodations and the must-see-places so I can plan our itinerary and save on fares. This way we are able to save up for our trip.

Yep, they should make travelling around the country more accessible and affordable to Filipinos. but there us another issued here. i think that aside from the money issue, travelling around the country has become a dangerous thing. i used to travel a lot with my family when i was a kid. we went around the entire Luzon area. these days though, even if i had a lot of money i would really be scared of travelling. stories about burning buses, bombed buses, holdups, kidnapping all freak me out. i think this is a testament of how much the Filipinos' quality of life has suffered. people will now do anything just to be able to eat or call the attention of a deaf government. it's scary......
