If a guy winks at a woman it means that he is attracted to her...but sometimes women feel awkward when someone winks at them.beware if a woman smiles after a guy winked at her,guys next moveis to know her name and then it all starts there.....

I believe it is just a flirtatious act, meaning 'I think you're cute', or just 'hi'. It is completely harmless and kinda cool. A compliment.

He is probably just being silly. It might not mean anything at all. If they talk to each other and maybe they like each other, maybe he is trying to be cute with her? I need to know more about the instance in which he winked at your daughter.
