My baby is 8 month old and he always vomits, as in everything he ate! thats the reason why he is thin, so everyday I dave to change his clothes, sponge bath him and feed him again.... I just wish some mom out there can help me... I ask the doctor and she told me that its ok and I have to wait till his stomach matures... but how i wish someone could help me find ways that he could keep the food in his stomach and not throw up.

I think after you feed your baby you have to make him burp. And don't over fed. I can't believe that at 8 months he still can't retain his food? Is it normal? Have you tried asking for 2nd opinion? Try asking for some help, I think its not normal.

Some babies have problems that stop them from keeping food down, this is a normal thing, i can only assume you don't have children of your own or perhaps the reason you think it's not normal is because you never had a problem like this! A 2nd opinion is a good idea but most people trust the information given to them by their trusted GP's!

First of all I have a few questions... What is he eating? How much? How much did he weigh at birth and how much does he weigh now? His stomach should be plenty mature enough to hanle everything but table foods by now so I don't understand what his doctor is telling you. I think you should find a new doctor and get another opinion.

The first thing I would do is find a new pediatrician. At eight months old, your child should not be having so many problems feeding. Your doctor's response is a total cop out.

I remember that my daughter had the same problem before. Maybe she was also as old as your son. My family even joked around that she was bulimic. Now she's 4 years old and we don't have that problem anymore. Maybe she got over it. My pedia said that maybe she was overfed so she adviced us to give her SMALL FREQUENT FEEDINGS. I'm not so sure if that solved our problem. You can try that also. Just little by little at a time. And try to give him simple food because babies' tongues are so sensitive. Goodluck!

It sounds like your son has reflux.. which is a condition that can't hold their food down. My nephew was suffering from reflux and had to take medication. It's nothing serious, it's just something that SOME babies go through. Nothing to be alarmed about, though. Burping will help alot and also probably changing your son's milk to one that specially helps with regurgitation (throwing up). Still the best way to go is to get a second opinion because I agree that at this age, your son shouldn't have too much feeding problems. Change your paediatrician and see what he/she says.

What do you feed him? It sounds like a couple of things. He's eating too much. He's eating something that upsets his stomach Acid reflux. I would try varying his diet and see where that goes.
