Child Sinusitis

Has anyone ever had to deal with a with a child that has very bad sinusitis. My son is 6 years old and all this time we though that he had very bad allergies, come to find out my son had sinusitis. Well, the doctor put him on a medication that helped dry it up, but as soon as we toke him off of the medication, the next day his nose start acting up. This is crazy. Does anyone on here have this problem.
