Have you witness someone die?

It could be anyone...your mum or dad or even brother or sister, it could also be your best friend, or even a stranger. It's not something you watch on TV or movie, it's something you witness infront of your eyes. I did not mean to bring back the past memories of the ones you loved and I understand it may also hard for you to tell, but that's fine if you don't want to tell. I have only witness mum passed away when I was at her bedside...I witnessed her final moments, it's just sad for me that she was fighting hard to live but finally she breath for the last time and she's gone forever. Well she's the only one dying that I have witnessed. So what about you? Thanks for sharing.

I have.. My grandpa (my mother's dad) back in 1992.. He was in a nursing home.He was out of it.. But the nurses told my mom and I that the night before he was alert and talking for awhile.. Then went back to where he was out of it again..
My mom and I were there.. She told me to go home and rest I said I was staying.. It wouldnt be long.. My mom told my grandpa it was ok to die. That she would be fine.. But he still linger on.. It was almost shift change.. and we were waiting for this one cna to come.. But found out he was off that day.. The cna got close to my grandfather..
We told grandpa that the cna was off that day and he wasnt coming in.. So grandpa just went to sleep after we told him his friend was not coming to work today..
My grandmother (my dad's mom) lived with us for a few months.. In her final days she was out of it and was calling out her brother's name..over and over.. The last night I worked graveyard and came home and was taking a bath.. My mom came downstairs to check on my grandma and she was gone.. My mom came into the bathroom and told me.. I didnt go into that room for along time..

I've seen so many people die, its a wonder how I even sleep at night..I watched my mother die just last november, I watched a man run into a wall on a motorcycle and the impact split him in half..I saw another guy get shot in the chest, another guy I knew very well growing up was shot at a block party..those are just a few...
