Sylar was killed by Hiro, so the new villian might even be Hiro's father. He was involved in Claire Bennett being taken away from her mother, and given to Mr. Bennett, and other things like that. It will be most interesting, and I can't wait to see it all.

but in the last episode, sylar lives a bloody footprint leading to a manhole. in that case, maybe sylar is still alive.
