I have tendonitis really bad plus had a torn ligament that was 3 yrs before they fixed it. I'm in pain daily but I can normally deal with it. Some days the pain is so bad that it makes me sick. I have not found any pain meds that work, most only make me sick. Today it is so bad that I can't even make a fist with either hand. The doctors say there is nothing they can do & refuse to put me on disability because I can still use my hands even though it is very painful sometimes. Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with the pain?

well i have had no ligament pain like yours im afrais so cant be of no help to you there. The only pain i get regular are my periods, depending on how bad the pain is, i usually turn my music on and have a dance around my front room. Or id its bad i get a cup of tea and curl up on my sofa with a blanket. I hope that your pain is not too discomforting for you in the future! and someones pain remedy can be of use to you. louise x

It's been going on for 8 yrs now. When it's this bad I would love to curl up and relax but I don't have that much time to be able to take off from work. I'm just so tired of being in pain & need a better way to deal with it.

Is there no operation that can be done to relieve the discomfort ?

They repaired the ligament after 3 yrs of telling me it was all in my head. By then it was almost totally severed & I could hardly do anything. They tell me there is nothing that can be done.

Have you seen any alternative doctors? Or tried any alternative methods? Some say accupuncture helps a lot (it also depends on how experienced a doctor you go to). Then there are many others I can't think of off the top of my head that are alternative too. Some give herbal meds, and some give relaxation methods. If you haven't tried, you may want to look into that.
