Shorey or Baines?

Which would u prefer to play for our club. Nicky Shorey has had a very good season and has broken into the England setup. Baines is another bright prospect. had a decent U21 tournament and would prob b cheaper? Your views????

I think out of the two Baines is the better choice. The guy has the potential to be the next Stuart Pearce. I really rate his chances of breaking into the national team in the near future.

Shorey for me. He is very talented and will stay loyal to the club. But the ideal choice would be to have both.

We should really go for both. It's not as if we have any decent fullbacks at the club at the moment. We should be building for the future and getting all the talent we can

I think newcastle should sign Nicky hunt and luke young yea .... they are some really good england defender ... actually i was hoping newcastle to go for paul konchesky yea
