I was born in the south and lived in Michigan for 8 years. Now I've been able to return to the south. I have to say that the people are nicer and move at a slower pace. I'm happy to have experienced life in the north but am very happy to be here where you are greeted with southern hospitality.

I know what you mean. The SF Bay Area and Northern California has a culture that I miss terribly sometimes. Folks there are a lot more open and accepting than the people here in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh--- A drinking town with a football problem.
