Whats the point of having all those gadgets for bows?

Whats the point? Having all of those scopes and things that make hunting the animal so easy? It makes it so easy almost to the point that all you have to do is point the bow in the direction of the animal and you have almost a guaranteed kill.
I totally ruins the fun of hunting with a bow and arrow.
What do you think about it?

I don't think it has made it easy, sure it has made it easier but there is still a lot of work you have to put into it. I know crossbows are easier yet but I'm talking compound bows, you have to practice a lot and make sure your shot is on. Then you have to do some scouting so you find the deer. If bow hunting is easy then rifle hunting is a peace of cake (which you may think so). This could be there very reason some guys will continue to pass up deer till they find that big one.
I will agree though there is something about primitive hunting tactics that make it seem cooler.
