How old was your child when he/she started walking?

Wow!! 7 Months, that is really early isn't it!! My experiance is between 9 an 11 months.

I think 12 - 14 months is considered average.

maybe it is...that is just when a few of the babies I knew started walking.

I think my twins were crawling at 4-5 months old.

When did they start cruising??

I think that it is so weird that I have had so many different ages in the responses. Does anyone else think there is a really wide range of ages here??

Why is walking a such a wide range of ages, but everything else is put on a month basis??

I would love to think I did something special but in all honesty, I can't think of anything that I could have done, she was very fast at everything. My mom says I walked early too, maybe there is a genetic 'fire" inside of us lol I swear that girl still runs in her sleep and she'll be 8 next month, the other chile is very laid back and would let you carry her on your shoulder anywhere. She'd just assume sleep lol
