Travel Jounals For Kids

Hi! We are palnning a lengthy vacation to Greece with our two children in 2010 (they will be 6 & 9 at the time of travel). I know it is still early, but there is so much planning, saving..and excitement! Because they will miss 2 months of school, I am going to have them keep a travel jounal, which will double as a project. I am interested in any hints, tips, ideas, suggestions - anything at all - to help me with this travel journal. I'm open to ideas!!! :D
