As a child of God things seems to go wrong and time and time again I ask myself is he real. Then a friend of mine said that as soon as one accepts the Lord the devil seems to take notice of him, Why? Because now I am following Jesus and yes i proved this to be true. Before i didn't care to much about being saved or following him, then i realized that all seems well but I still felt empty and unhappy. Then i started discussions with my cristian friend and some things were really hard to accept, it didn't seem right, and I said to her, "I'm doing good without the Lord'" but the truth was I really wasn't. Then she said it is all right to test the Lord and I did and to my surprise he proved himself and today i say praise the Lord........... Trials do make us stronger... If u experianced the Lord lets share ....if you havn't then try him..............

The devil took notice of you before, you just didn't notice him. He takes notice of new Christians to discourage us from walking a righteous path so we will not be able to set a good example to others. I believe people can do good without the Lord the difference is our motives. I also believe trials make us stronger. When I think back to some of mine, I truly don't think I could have survived without knowing Jesus was right beside me.

If you could pick up the phone and talk to God that would solve all of your doubts. Since that is not the case you have to rely on your faith. Most people have a void in their life and look to worldly things to fill that void. Only few realize that this void can only be filled by God. No one can tell you or explain to you that he is real. This is something you have to believe for yourself. After praying and reading your bible you will find most of the answers you are looking for. Things will often go wrong for the believer, but the bible urges us to expect this. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Giving up oneself to the Lord is one good thing that could happened to a man's life. And I can relate to your story of emptiness because they said that in a man's heart there's an empty space that only Jesus can filled. Other people have a big misconception in accepting the Lord. They think that they will not be vulnerable to trials, sufferings and hurts. But what they don't realized was God purposely gave all these things to test our faith, and eventually build our character. You're right, these things comes to make us stronger and prepare us for the work God had intentionally prepared for us. God bless.

Befor becoming a Chirstian things was not perfect, and after becoming one things still are not perfact. So I see that God has nothing to do with how are days go. but othere people and are selves have to do with how good are bad are days are. God I not going to find my wifes car keys every morning she is going to make my life hell until there found. so what does my day starting out wrong have to do with God at all. Its my wife thats the devil at the time making my day start wrong. That is just one example of how people make your life hell not God. just something to think about.
