Now I do not know much about these people or this tradition, so I was hoping that someone here on mylot who is familiar or maybe a part of this tradition could answer some questions. Are the various branches of Palo cammed "ramas"? And are the man Ramas, Mayombe, Briyumba, Kimbisa, and Malongo? Does everyone share the same basic beliefs, but have different variations in practice? Is this true? Do the Mayombe work only with the mpungos? What are the mpungos? Is Mayombe the oldest and one of the first forms of Palo? Do they believe that Mayombe de Palo is actually from the Bantu Tribes or areas known as Mayombe? Which Country, and culture is this from? Is the Briyumba the branch of Palo that is of an Afro Cuban Innovation? Do the Mayombe ramas has elemenets of Brillumba in them? What is Brillumba? .. Was it birthed in Cuba from the Mayomberos of Africa? What is a Mayombero? Is Briyumba looked as a "technique based" because they break their techniques down precisely? Are their two different types of Kimbisa? 1. Kimbisa Santo Cristo Viaje and 2. Kimbisa. Regla Kimbisa.. and can they trace their originas to the Loango kindgom? Was this established by a man named Adres Petit of Cuba? Now, as some of my posts I post responces with alot of follow-up information, but I am asking these questions as I really have no knowledge on this tradition. If you know the answers please respond and share it with us. - DNatureofDTrain

Hello. So many questions asked and all the questions you have asked are not one worded answers. Umm.I can give you a basic about the religion and a answer a couple questions and if you continue being curious please contact me. There are many ramas in PALO MAYOMBE is the main religion. There are many branches however the belief is the same but do things different. Some believe that this religion was born from Cuba but some believe it was transformed from Africa (Congo). We believe in the spirits who help us everyday, talks to us everyday and shows us things. Send me a message if you have more questions.
