c'mon! we all sang nursery rhymes when we were a kid. who didn't? ^__^ I like best baa baa black sheep. its cute and I like singing it. baa baa black sheep have you any wool? yes sir, yes sir, 3 bags full. one for the master and one for the dame, one for the little boy who lives down the lane... I have another favorite nursery rhyme but its local and it goes: leron, leron sinta (leron, leron my love) buko ng papaya (papaya fruit) dala-dala'y buslo (bringing with a basket) sisidlan ng bunga (where the papaya will be placed) pagdating sa dulo (when reached the end of the branch) nabali ang sanga (the branch snapped) kapos kapalaran (misfortune) humanap ng iba (find someone else). ^__^ LOL what nursery rhymes do you like?

Oh goodness secretbear there are so many. Here's a few that I enjoyed as a tyke. A Wise Old Owl A wise old owl lived in an oak The more he saw the less he spoke The less he spoke the more he heard. Why can't we all be like that wise old bird? Hey Diddle Diddle Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, The cow jumped over the moon. The little dog laughed to see such fun And the dish ran away with the spoon! Starlight Star Bright Star Light Star bright, The first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight. Itsy Bitsy Spider Itsy Bitsy spider climbing up the spout Down came the rain and washed the spider out Out came the sun and dried up all the rain Now Itsy Bitsy spider went up the spout again! ‹(°¿°)›

Ohhhh that would be something. You're right, I would use hand gestures to animate the rhymes. Hehe. ‹(°¿°)›

Aside from Twinkle, Twinkle, I like "I've Been Working on the Railroad" and "Clementine". I also like this one rhyme: I Have a Tiny Turtle I have a tiny turtle his name is Tiny Tim I put him in the bathtub to see if he can swim He drank up all the water and ate up all the soap and now my tiny turtle has bubbles on his throat Glub, glub!

a lot of people/kids like twinkle twinkle little star. I think because stars are one of the interesting things that kids first discover. ^__^

LOL I can only remember tha I enjoyed reciting it and see humpty dumpty sitting ontop of a high wall. ^__^

its the "little tea pot" sure its fun to sing back then as i remember it. while singing, you'll do the action of the tea pot pouring a cup or if its whistling cause the water inside is boiling. ^.^ and the rhyme is simply beautiful

I think my favorite nursery rhyme went something like this. Georgie Porgie, Poodin n pie, kissed the girls and made them cry, when the boys when out to play Georgie Porgie ran away I haven't heard it in a while so I don't know if my version is correct or not.
