My computer has got some real big problem. But I was not aware of its consequences till today. What happened is that I have already passed my broadband allowance for this month but thought of doin some online works today, carefully, spending minimum of bytes on it. And here I am, connecting again and again, opening same pages again and again as my computer 'loves' to shut down without any warning and whenever it desires so! Lots of Megabytes are already spent but my work is not finished yet so I will be here. Can anybody help me about this issue?

I am sorry as I know nothing about braodband and allowances. They limit you as to how much you can use it or what? I am lost. I was thinking it may have something to do with the computer itself and not your ISP. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Try this, go to START, then PROGRAMS, then to ACCESSORIES, then to SYSTEM TOOLS, next to DISC DEFRAGMENTER. Run it to see if the hard drive needs be be defragged. That may be the cause.

Thanks for the help:) But my hard disk is very well defragmented. And you got it right that it's computer's fault only. This good machine just made me to restart and relogin and retype my answer to you :) Broadband gives you a set amount of bytes (400MB, 1GB, 2.5GB so on) to be spent in a fixed period for a definite payment. If you cross the limit, every single MB crossed has to be paid. I hope I won't get much fined;) Thanks for all your support:)

I think you have a pretty little virus. Happened to me too. You should reinstal your operating system and after instal both a good antivirus and a good antispyware ;)

The man who came to check my computer too said that due to some virus, my computer has become slow. But then he suggested that I must format the disk and reinstall the Windows. And my problem is that I am not so confident about doing it myself :( But Thanks for the reply :) I think my elder brother will fix it as soon as he comes. He know so much about computers!
