can you help me understand something?

a friend of mine told me that he needs some help but he doesn't accept it even though there are persons who'd want to help him.i can't understand his way of thinking.do you?

maybe he doesnt want others to help him or he want you to help him directly. it might be too personal so he doesnt want others to be bothered.

hmm...weird.i told him i could help him and if he is in need he can contact me,but he told me that he doesn't accept any help.

If some one wants to help grab the opportunity. I think your friend is proud to take help from known persons. He wants some unknown person to help him. There are some characters like that.
