have you ever felt those times when you're staring at the computer, trying to get a good discussion going, yet nothing comes up? i'm feeling one of those times now, and it's bugging me. i feel like i've done nothing interesting today except go on duty at the hospital, and now i'm back home, trying to do something other than study, which is mylot, yet i can't find any interesting topic to talk about! my mind is practically empty! help!

Well, at least you managed to get this post down. I have problems with my brain going blank most every day. I find it much more easy to respond than to start discussions these days.

Sometimes I find it helps a lot if i start reading the newspaper carefully. There is always something strange that happened that i can post about

LOL I feel that way all the time, that is why I don't start many discussions. When I have a subject in mind I check and someone else has already posted something similar.

Thoughtless mind is the highest state. Only meditators and spiritual persons will attain that state of mind. Are you spiritual?

It happens to me many times. I do not want to post discussion just for the sake of it. There must be some stuff in it. But certain times, nothing strikes me. But some people post good discussions always and get many responses too. May be they are very intelligent. Let us strive for that.

Yes, like whats happening to me now, I feel I'm lazy and empty mind. I try to brows some discussion if I will have some interested topic to response. But unfortunately I've been here for one hour but I only answered two discussion including yours. But maybe I have to admit I'm exshausted now and tired because I did general cleaning of the house.

i can understand feeling tired can affect how the brain functions haha! i'm also feeling a bit sick right now, cold and cough, so all i can think of is trying to breath as easily as possible! that makes thinking about new things to posts kind of difficult LOL!

I can't put anything into your head as far as discussion wise. But seems you started one anyhow. Hahahaha!! We all, including me, have been in this stare at the monitor mood here. It get's this way sopmetimes when I try to think too much about what to write about. I just take a short walk then my mind is usually cleared by then. Good luck also on the empty brain syndrome. Hahahaha! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Most times there's nothing in my head and I stare blankly at the monitor, lol! I always have such a hard time coming up with discussions that haven't been started before, so a lot of times I don't, and end up answering some instead. Sometimes though, I look at other discussions with the same blank expression on my face!

I would not worry about it too much Teleios, it happens to all of us. Sometimes you really just need to give the mind a break. I often get that way as well. At that point I either walk away from the computer for a while and come back refreshed, or just listen to music. cheers,
