cat napping

we caught our cat, dinkus, napping on his window perch the other day. he had his front paws tucked under his head and using them for a pillow. it was so cute, we had to take a picture. the background was too bright, so black and white worked best. isn't it funny how pets can sleep in such odd positions at times. i'm sure you have a pet napping story to tell. feel free to tell it here.

Little dinkus is just absolutely gorgeous and I must say that I have never seen my cat sleep like that but we have only had him 6 months or so.
My little Leo quite often falls asleep on the coffee table kind of lying on his side and as he falls more asleep he becomes more relaxed and gradually starts falling off the table and we have to grab him quick before he falls right off. He just acts all huffy like we have disturbed him and as if we weren't doing him a favour.
Cats are so cute just now but our little Leo is grounded just now cos everytime he goes out he goes on the roof of the low buildings beside us and I have to climb over to get him cos he gets stuck and its a big drop. Second time today he has done it.

they certainly are mischievous little darlings, aren't they? dinkus is a tom and really shows little fear. he's about 2 now and pretty much rules the roost among 5 dogs. thanks for writing, killahclaire.
