Tomato Trees!

I purchased a pair of tomato trees, and they came by dry root. They are now standing shoulder high! They are in pretty planter pots on my patio. I've counted 7 small tomatoes starting, and that's just from one plant! Oh, fried green tomatoes, I can't wait! How are your tomato plants doing? Do you add anything special to the dirt? I have added Miracle Gro.

I am so jealous. My tomato trees are wimpy. They are sturdy but small. I cannot wait for mine to grow like that. I water them faithfully without any added things. BUT I am going to get some Miracle Grow.

Cool! Where do you get those? That would be good for us bc we can't plant and care for a garden anymore. Do you have an address for those or a link? We just love tomatoes!

My Tomato Trees! - These are my HUGE tomato trees on 7/4, which now stand shoulder high. Tomatoes are forming, and I can' wait!
I've added a current picture, taken yesterday of them! http://www.gardenerschoice.com/ is the place that I've gotten them for the past two years. When they come, they are dry root plants. After planting, and watering, they spring right up and take off. They are very affordable, and pretty too!

Wow! I didn't know that there were tomato trees, always thought that they grew on these shrub like plants. Good luck with your tomatos.
