Have you ever woken to the sound of your own snore?

I don't usually snore. I know I sometimes do, especially when I'm really tired. One time, I woke up upon hearing a snoring sound. I thought it was my husband. And then I realized it was me. I woke up to my own snore! lol! Have you ever experienced this before?

I have awoken to the sound of a sudden gasping breath that is much like a snore, but due to sleep apnea - when the body registers that it is being oxygen deprived the deep and sudden breath is taken, that wakes me up.

Yes this has happend to me. I usually don't snore either unless I'm drunk, sick or really tired. And I've noticed a sound before and woken up to realize that sound was me. I always find it funny. Then I'm slightly upset because I woke myself up!

Yes if I happen to take a deep enough breath, I wake myself all the time.

I think I have been awakened by my own snore, too. It's funny. It usually happens when I sleep on my back. I have really bad allergies and my nose and throat are always swollen and congested.
